Greetings,
Glory and Praise to God!! We are grateful for the opportunity to present to you our WEB SITE. The image of our Lady that you see is a copy of Boticelli's Madonna del Libre-quite fitting! It is a comfort to have Our Lady watching over us...just as she watched over Our Lord while he was growing.
We are also thankful to God for the many blessings we continually receive as our little family business continues to grow for so does our family Stephen Vincent our youngest, who was born on the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, a.k.a. Our Lady of Victory, is twelve and our oldest Peter, our first homeschooled graduate, has now graduated from Christendom College, is working, just got promoted and moved into his own apartment. WOW!! Time does go fast for us as we watch each child mature and leave the nest. The next oldest Andrew will graduate in May from Christendom College. Martin comes next in age and is a sophomore at Thomas Aquinas College and loving it. Anne the oldest of the girls is now applying to college, is homeschooled and taking a math course at the local community college. The younger three Julia now in her first year of high school, Elizabeth in 8th grade and Stephen in sixth are all homeschooled around our dining room table. We savor every day with them, even the days that prove to be difficult and challenging.
We have been so blessed that our business can be next door, even though our handyman's special is old, it is a real Godsend for this family. (It was through the prayers of so many, especially the nonstop novenas that our dear friend and neighbor, 90 year old Francesca, said for our intentions that helped to get the building out of the basement of our home). We named the building "Cor Unum", one heart, and had it blessed on the feast of the Sacred Heart!
Enjoy your time here and more importantly enjoy your children they truly are a gift from God. We hope you will find all the educational materials you require to make for a fruitful year of home schooling. We look forward to your suggestions for improvement and book requests.
God Bless,
Lawrence and Paola, Peter, Andrew, Martin, Anne, Julia, Elizabeth & Stephen Ciskanik
