How do I download my eBook file?

After you pay for your eBook by credit card, it is immediately available in your account file. On the bottom of every Emmanuel Books website page you can find  "My Account".  By clicking this link you will access your full and secure account.

  • You will see a line for "Downloads".
  • Click on the word "Downloads"
  • You will see all the titles of the downloads you purchased, click on the title you want to download
  • "Open" the file; then save it in a folder (Choose a place to save the file that will be easy for you to remember, somewhere you can access it any time you need it, the file expires from the website after the download grace period, so SAVE it NOW)
  • It is also wise to save this (and all your eBook files) on an external drive.
  • pdf files are read on Adobe Reader and epub files are already set to be able to read on most devices. (should you need the software just download the free Adobe Digital software, http://www.adobe.com/products/digital-editions/download.html)

I'm having a problem downloading my eBook file. Can you help?

By downloading  Calibre® software on your PC, you set up a “bookshelf” of downloads that can be easily transferred to & from your reading device. Download the free software here http://calibre-ebook.com/.   Companies selling readers often make it difficult to order eBooks from anywhere but themselves; Calibre® will convert the file to the proper format so you can read it on any device.

Also some devices are particular about file names. Try renaming and shortening the file you just downloaded and saved by taking out extra symbols and/or spaces, (for example: Ignatius Bible (RSV) 2nd Edition (EPUB).... can be simply renamed Ignatius Bible).

I am having trouble with my transparencies:

The transparencies are Powerpoint (.ppt) files…if you do not have PowerPoint software on your computer you can still read them on most computers…however, if you are still having trouble here is a free download from Microsoft so you can view these files.....http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=6
