How do I download my eBook file?

After you pay for your eBook by credit card, it is immediately available in your account file. On the bottom of every page, in the brown section, click on "My Account". You should now see a line for "Downloads". Click on that and "Open" the file; then save in a folder you will remember to store it. It is also wise to save this (and all your eBook files) on an external drive. 

I'm having a problem downloading my eBook file. Can you help?

By downloading  Calibre® software, you set up a “bookshelf” of downloads that can be easily transferred to & from your device. Download the free software here http://calibre-ebook.com/.   Companies selling readers often make it difficult to order eBooks from anywhere but themselves; Calibre® will convert the file to the proper format so you can read it on your device.

Also some devices are particular about file names. Try renaming and shortening the file you just downloaded and saved by taking out extra symbols and/or spaces, (for example: Ignatius Bible (RSV) 2nd Edition (EPUB).... can be simply renamed Ignatius Bible).

How to Open ePub Files on Your iPad or Mac Computer

1. From Computer to iPad  or Mac computer
2. Make sure the free iBooks app is on your iPad.
3. Open iTunes on your computer.
4. Find the ePub file on your computer.
5. Drag and drop the ePub file onto your Library in iTunes on your computer.
6. Connect your iPad to your computer.
7. Check under the “Books” tab in iTunes to be sure this ePub is selected for syncing
8. Then sync.
9. The ePub document is added to your iBooks collection inside the iBooks app.
10. From now on, you can open the ePub document from the iBooks app on your iPad.

Directly on the iPad or Mac Computer (recommended)

1. Make sure the free iBooks app is on your iPad.
2. Follow the link from Safari to reach the ePub document.
3. Select “Open in iBooks” on the iPad.
4. The eBook will open and be added to your iBooks collection.
5. From now on, you can open the ePub document from the iBooks app on your iPad.

Can I place an order online, but send a check for payment?

No problem.  After you click “Checkout” from your shopping cart, you have the opportunity to enter or change your billing information.  Instead of using a credit card, choose Alternate Payment which allows you to send a personal check.  One of our friendly customer service representatives will call you to confirm that you are indeed paying by check.  Remember that orders over $150 may be subject to a 10 business day hold.

I don’t want to use my credit card on the website.  Can I place my order online, but provide the credit card information over the phone?

Sure you can.  After you click “Checkout” from your shopping cart, you have the opportunity to enter or change your billing information.  Instead of using a credit card, choose Alternate Payment.  When our friendly customer service representative calls you, you can provide your credit card information over the phone.  For your own security, do not email your credit card information to us.

How can I add to an order I just placed on-line?

The best way to add to an order is to call us or email us right away.  Since we personally review all our orders before final processing you can also place a new order on-line and we will combine the orders to save you shipping!  

How can I cancel an order?

Just give us a call or email us right away and we can cancel the order for you.

How can I make a special request for an item I need but cannot find on the website?

We hope to be a help and therefore we will help you locate the items you need to educate your children.  Quite often we can special order any items you need.  Just email us or call with your request!
